As a growing practice, we are building a strong, supportive team focused on high-quality medicine and compassionate care. Our 3,000 sq. ft. facility includes five exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, a dedicated dental and surgery suite, and Fear Free–focused patient accommodations.

We also collaborate with mobile specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery, and offer integrative services such as acupuncture.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Pharmacy Operations Technician who is passionate about animal care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to grow your clinical skills while working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Enter incoming inventory from vendor invoices, ensuring accurate stock quantities, batch numbers, and pricing.
  • Conduct monthly full inventory counts and document any discrepancies for management review.
  • Perform monthly expired product audits, remove expired items from inventory and shelves, and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
  • Manage return-to-stock items and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare, label, and handle medications accurately under veterinary direction and in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Monitor and follow up on prescription (Rx) requests and callback bins to ensure timely client communication and medication fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy, including cabinets, shelves, refrigerators, and workspaces.
  •  Provide compassionate, attentive care to patients and excellent service to clients.
  •  Assist veterinarians (DVMs) and RVTs with exams, procedures, dentistry, and surgery.  
  •  Perform routine diagnostics (lab work, radiology, etc.) 
  •  Maintain accurate and compliant medical records. 
  • Support patient flow by assisting in exam rooms as needed to help keep appointments and daily operations running on schedule.

  •  Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  •  Comfortable using digital tools (Windows, Gmail, Google Drive; experience with IDEXX Neo is a plus, but we will train). 
  •  Ability to stay adaptable in a growing and evolving practice. 

Qualifications:
  •  High school diploma or GED required. 
  •  Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience (required). 
  •  Dental and anesthesia monitoring experience preferred.
